Education: Tyler School of Art: BFA in Painting with a minor in Jewelry and Art Education.
Graduate School: Masters in Art Education plus an addition 60 graduate credits to become a Senior Career Teacher.
Career: Art Teacher in Philadelphia Public Schools for 35 years.
Art Statement: My first love is painting in oils, but I also enjoy working with pastels. I like to take everyday scenes and elevate their importance through the use of color.
Exhibitions: Have exhibited in many shows throughout the area including the Ocean City Fine Arts League, Ocean City Art Center, Hammonton Art Center, Great Bay Gallery in Somers Point, North End Trilogy Gallery in Barnegat Light and the Riverfront Renaissance Center in Millville where I am an Associate Artist. I am also an associate artist at the Noyes Museum of Art. My work is in the collections of many people from the tri-state area. I have received several awards for my paintings.
