"Children's Holiday Clay Class" with Althea Vail
Children’s Clay Class
Children ages 7 thru 11 years of age
Sunday, January 25, from 2- 3:30PM
Children will hand-build two projects with earthenware
and use underglazes to paint their work.
Instructor will clear glaze and kiln fire them.
Finished pieces will be delivered to OCFAL on
February 11 for pick-up.
Each child will have 2 Valentine’s Day
gifts to give!
$20 per child
Plus $20 for all other costs and supplies (includes 2 kiln firings)
Children should wear older clothes.

The instructor is Althea Vail, a retired public school educator and
member of OCFAL. She has worked with clay since the mid-1990’s
and is owner of Pine Tree Pottery in Blackwood, NJ
(Brownies - this meets the Craft Badge requirement.)

Arc Angels Spread Their Wings
Tuesday afternoons at The Bay Center developmentally disabled adults who are clients of the Arc of Atlantic County meet. A community outreach program that enriches the lives of the developmentally disabled adults through the arts.

All levels are welcome and encouraged. You may take one class or continue every week. Some sessions will be held outdoors.
Time: Sundays 9-11 AM
Cost: $18 per session
Supplies can be provided if necessary
