Nancy holds degrees from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia Pa., The George Washington University/ Corcoran School of Art, Washington D.C. and The Decorating Masters Institute. Her illustrations have graced the pages and covers of New York Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Putnam Books, Working Woman Magazine and numerous other publications. Her clients include The Walt Disney Co., American Greetings, Hallmark Cards, and Fisher Price. You may have seen her art on billboards, cards, bathmats, school supplies, decorative tins and ceramic mugs. Living in Avalon, NJ, Nancy is concentrating on painting. Her years as an illustrator and designer enhance her work. The compositions are very graphic and contemporary in tone. The colors are brilliant yet sophisticated. Patterns and texture play an important part. The compositions create an intimate relationship between the observer and the painting. Nancy’s paintings have been exhibited at The Noyes Museum of Art, The New York Historical Society, Perkins Center for the Arts, Markeim Art Center, The Society of Illustrators NYC and Hopkins House Gallery. Her selected professional achievements include the Art Directors Club of N.J. Distinctive Merit Award, Citation of Merit Awards from the Society of Illustrators N.Y. City, and First Place in a National Billboard Competition. First place, best in show, at the Cape May Cultural and Heritage Society. Nancy has placed her work in many private and public collections. The Atlanti-Care Hospital in Atlantic City N.J. has a collection of her paintings on the fourth floor. Studio visits by appointment only.
