After a thirty four year career as a nurse anesthetist, Mary Ellen is now joyfully offering another kind of nurturing - photography and photo montage that uplifts the spirit and lightens the heart.

Her photography has been chosen by the Noyes Museum Colors of Hope program to hang in the Scarpa Cancer Pavilion at the South Jersey Medical Center, Vineland NJ. The Pediatric wing of Shore Medical Center, Somers Point NJ is displaying her delightful creation of monarch butterfly caterpillars, entitled, "Caterpillars Who Know" and "After the Rain".

Her work has been featured in both the Terrace Room and the Little Gallery in the Mad Batter Restaurant in Cape May NJ. She also received an award at the winter exhibition at the Beesley House in Cape May Court House and at the 2013 Cape May County National Arts Program Exhibition.

She illustrated the children's book The Elsinore Tree, written by Francis Seal.

As a member of the Ocean City Fine Arts League, some of her latest works are displayed in the gallery on Asbury Avenue in Ocean City, NJ. Mary Ellen is also a member of the Cape May County Art League.
