It's never 2 late 2 create . . . my mantra. Born to art teacher parents in 1956, creativity and travel were part of my growing up in the 60s in Southern California.
Earning an A.A.S. in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY ('76) and a B.A. in Interior Design from more Moore College of Art in Philadelphia ('80), I was on my way to a promising art & design career. But as so many crossroads come up in life, art came to a halt for me in 1992.
I raised 2 sons and went on to a different career path . . . The stress of life had taken its toll, and I felt a strong need to re-discover my inner self and creativity again. 27 years since I drew anything-I wasn't even sure where to start, but find my way, I did in Septemeber of 2012.
That first month of painting, my only brother was hospitalized and not expected to live. He did, and I presented him with my very first painting "Mouth of the Susquehanna" at Christmas . . . I haven't stopped painting since.
